Santosha Surf Sanctuary is an ocean view property walking distance to three incredible beaches where you will find unique waves for all levels of surfers and tide pools. You do not need to be a surfer to stay here, our accommodations and the area is ideal for couples, surfers, nature lovers and people who have an adventurous soul. We have the only swim up pool bar in Nicaragua that offers creative cocktails and healthy food and fun vibes for the whole family!

The Cabanas and Guest Rooms are walking distance through shaded trails with vast ocean views to three beaches and several fishing spots. There are several pristine beaches in the area that you can also drive to including a protected beach that is a nature reserve for an abundance of wild animals but especially the Olive Ridley Sea Turtle. Guests do not have to do yoga or surf as we offer an abundance of activities such as waterfall tours nearby the property, horseback riding, fishing, and hiking. Bring comfortable trail walking shoes!

HOTEL POLICY

Reservations must be paid in full at the time of reserving in order to conform your reservation. Standard check in time is any time after 3 pm. If rooms are available prior to check-in time, an early check-in may be possible. You are welcome to leave your luggage free of charge in our luggage storage prior to your check-in. Check-out is any time before 11am. Late check outs until 1pm will be granted only if we do not have a new arrival for you cabana. Day Pass Usage for the pool is $10 USD per person after check-out.

Payment Policy

Payment policy for advance payments, the balance due shall be paid in full in USD or the local currency Cordoba at the time of reserving. A 15% IVA and 2% INTUR tax will be charged and collected with the balance. Due to our location we require reservations in advance to prepare for your arrival. Due to our location and the nature of COVID, we require a minimum of a week’s notice to make a reservation so we can prepare for your arrival. Unfortunately we cannot accept last minute arrivals. All Wire transfer fees, Credit Card Fees or Paypal Fees are the responsibility of the client.

Pet Policy

Pets are not permitted with the exception of certified service animals assisting disabled guests for an additional $10 USD per night. We are certainly open to allowing non/service animals with a conversation in advance. We can allow well behaved pets that will be kept on leash. No animals will be allowed to be left alone in the rooms or on the property.

Group Policy

Standard room occupancy is 2 people per room, if you require 3 people an additional $10 USD per person per night will be added with taxes


General policy

Reservations can be cancelled or amended free of charge up to 60 days before 11am on the first day of your booking. If reservations are cancelled any later than that guests will be charged the full amount due including applicable taxes and any fees incurred when refunding the client.

We are not able to do make exceptions for reservation cancellations for circumstances like weather, or flight delays. However, if you have contacted COVID and you can provide us with the positive test results we ask you not to travel and will refund you 20%. We highly recommend to purchase a travel insurance to assist you with these circumstances. It is a risk to travel at this time.

Any damages to the rooms and the hotel property will be promptly assessed. Smoking is not permitted in the cabanas. Smoking is only permitted in the outdoor areas when other guests are not inconveniced. Charges are applied for damages due to smoking.

We have a no visitor policy, and only registered guests are permitted on the premises, unless prior arrangements are made with the management.
